Today was a baloney sandwich with really good bread and really bad baloney.
This place of Westport Ireland is changing me. First thing in the morning, Â I have to check the tide, and then keep an eye on it throughout the day. Gorgeous golden sun this morning with full tide smooth like a mirror.
Now the baloney –
My box still isn’t here and the detergent from the apartment I used to wash my clothes is a problem. I have to keep windows open. Actually, I’m still struggling with the washer and dishwasher. My website isn’t moving. Can’t figure out how to make calls from my phone. Still don’t get how to make the iPad work when not on WiFi – or when it is on WiFi when traveling. Starting to cry. Jeff’s wife’s birthday is today so he is not available. (I love how good a husband Jeff is. This is not a complaint.) Trying to learn how to work on my website with YouTube videos. They’re too fast and I don’t understand what they’re saying.
Second slice of bread-

Carlee got back to me and said she’s on it. Also that there is more there than I’m seeing – I need to clear my cache, which I did after watching how on YouTube and there is more posted on the site – Whew! She and I are getting together on Zoom tomorrow for her to walk me through how to do the blog myself, which was the original plan.
Patricia, the tour guide, took me out for a drink, then planned 3 day-trips, plus she gave me a brief tour of the town. When we got to where my grandfather worked my throat and chest choked. Weird.
She also told me to dial 00 before any phone numbers, gave me the number to the nail salon, and came in and showed me how to use the washer and dishwasher.
Like I said, a baloney sandwich. Also just saw a message that my box is in customs, so it’s moving.
